MSc Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is currently Head of Positioning at CIRCE, following his role as Brussels Delegate. He has worked for the Spanish Association for the R&D on Natural Resources (AITEMIN) on the implementation of the R&D quality standards. He has worked as chemist for L’Oreal and conducted research in the CNRS of France on chemical process optimization. Before joining CIRCE in 2012, he worked for the CDTI – Spanish Technology Agency for seven years, being National Manager of Technological cooperation Agreements with several countries abroad Europe such as Japan, China and Canada. Later on he was Delegate at the CDTI Delegation in Brussels, acting as Spanish representative in the SET-Plan, evaluating European and National R&D projects and being member of the FP7 Energy Committee. He is the coordinator of the contract “European Sustainable Chemistry Support Service” with the European Commission and was CIRCE’s lead researcher in project R4R, being in charge of developing the implementation plan of the JAP developed in the project and to apply R4R methodology (TIS) in Aragon region. He was also the project coordinator of HARMONI and POWERBIO (H2020 projects).
