Lauren Wilk is Vice President, Government Affairs at Arconic Corporation. Arconic Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, is a leading provider of aluminum sheet, plate, and extrusions, as well as innovative architectural products, that advance the automotive, aerospace, commercial transportation, industrial and building and construction markets. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Penn., the company has a global footprint of 21 manufacturing facilities and 13,400 employees located in 20 countries.
In her role, Lauren develops and executes government affairs strategies to support revenue and market growth for the company. She is engaged in legislative and regulatory policy issues that affect the company’s operations and markets, and she oversees advocacy and engagement efforts with federal, state and local governments and other stakeholders in the United States as well as the countries where Arconic has a presence. She currently serves on the International Trade Advisory Committee on Automotive Equipment and Capital Goods (ITAC-2) to formally advise the U.S. Trade Representative and the Commerce Department on trade policy issues that impact the automotive supply chain.
Prior to joining Arconic Corporation, Lauren was the Vice President, Government Relations and International Programs at the Aluminum Association. Previously, she was Director of Trade Policy at the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) in Washington, D.C., and served as a Senior Legislative Assistant for U.S. Representative Donald Manzullo. Prior to working on Capitol Hill, she worked for the Aerospace Industries Association and the American Farm Bureau Federation. She holds a B.S. in Journalism and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Kansas and a M.A. in National Security Studies from the Naval War College.
